As we are creeping towards the launch of AppGear. Please find below our latest Marketing & PR Plan highlighting some key points.
TV Campaign runs 12th – 31st May with a burst of 125TVRs on ITVB, Nicktoons, CITV, CITVB, Turner, Disney XD.
We have confirmed a 4 week campaign with BinWeevils, a leading kids social networking website. We will create an AppGear Arena within SLAMS PARTY BOX (a high traffic area of the site) in which kids can engage with the brand by playing games, talking challenges and watching videos. Kids spend 10-12 minutes within these branded areas and we aim to interact with the sites 2.2million unique monthly users; focussing on our key demographic of 7-11yrs.
Celebrity Spokesperson (Final details TBC)
We are teaming up with gadget guru, Jason Bradbury from The Gadget Show. We have a dedicated Press Launch on May 24th in a London Hotel. The event will be very much focused on the gadget, on-line media and bloggers as well as pushing a national feature on AppGear and the app toy market using Jason as a leading gadget guru and spokesperson. Jason was presented the range at London Toyfair and instantly tweeted numerous pics and videos to his 159,554 followers.
The Gadget Show Live
AppGear was named top 5 Tech Toy for 2012 by the Gadget Show Live at Toyfair. The Gadget Show Live took place this week between April 11th and 15th, with a Professional trade-only day on the 10th. AppGear was featured within a daily session hosted by BBC Radio One’s Aled Haydn Jones and Stuff TV’s Lucy Hedges. Consumers were able to see APPGEAR presented from 14:00 each day.
Full page lead feature for MCV Magazine’s Games and Toys special edition. This also includes a full page advert. The audience is B2B games and tech industry which is published today (13th April 2012).
AppGear will be presented to 90 key gadget columnists, game / tech bloggers and national press towards the end of April as stock is arriving into retail. We have over 150 samples to tour and leave for reviews.
The AppGear Army blog will begin at the end of May by targeting the BinWeevils community. We will target the 2.2million unique users towards the end of our campaign driving them offsite to our dedicated Blogsite where they can become a member of the AppGear Army.
